The Vintage List on the big screen...

From Dublin to the Drawing Room: Our Glassware in House of Guinness

When it comes to telling stories on screen, every detail matters. From the costumes to the set design, authenticity is what brings a historical drama to life. That’s why we’re delighted to share that our glassware has been featured in Netflix's brand-new period series; House of Guinness.

The series traces the rise of the Guinness family and the legacy behind one of the world’s most iconic brewing names. While sweeping views of Dublin and the Irish countryside set the scene, it’s the finer details - candlelight glinting on crystal, the soft clink of a glass raised in toast - that bring the story to life. From lavish gatherings to quiet fireside moments, every frame feels rich with history and grandeur - and in those moments, you'll find our glassware.

As you might know, The Vintage List has always taken its inspiration from the past. Our etched ferns, stars and elegant cut patterns echo the designs of the 19th and early 20th century - the very same era that House of Guinness brings so vividly to life.

It’s thrilling to see our glasses become part of that world. Just as in Saltburn and A Gentleman in Moscow, we love that our glassware feels at home in a historical setting, while also being perfectly at ease on a modern dining table.

While most of us won’t find ourselves dining in 19th-century Ireland, you can recreate the atmosphere at home. Our glassware isn’t just for the set of a historical drama; it’s for modern-day celebrations, dinners with friends, and quiet moments when only a beautiful glass will do.
