How to host the perfect cocktail party

As we're heading towards longer, and hopefully warmer days, we can't wait to host more cocktail parties. The sound of clinking glasses, lively conversation in the air, and being surrounded by friends old and new - there's nothing better if you ask us.

When it comes to hosting a cocktail party, having a variety of glassware on hand is essential. Whether you're serving classic cocktails or experimenting with your own recipes, choosing the right glassware can really enhance the drinking experience and impress your guests. From champagne coupes to martini glasses, each style of glass serves a specific purpose and takes your soirée to the next level.

We had a chat with our founder Camilla to delve into her dream guest list, which drinks she would serve, and her cocktail party dos and don'ts.

IF YOU COULD INVITE THREE PEOPLE TO A COCKTAIL PARTY, WHO WOULD YOU CHOOSE?

Hopefully there would be more than four people at the party (!) but these are the people I would like to have to make it go with a bang!

Stanley Tucci (obviously) so he can mix some fantastic cocktails. Rupert Everett for his dry sense of humour, witty one liners and the stories he could tell. George Michael for his music, or Nina Simone for music and drinking.

WHAT WOULD YOU SERVE AT THE COCKTAIL PARTY?
I guess my drinks would be sidecar, margarita, and martini (that sounds like trouble). And I would, of course, serve some champagne and delicious things to eat.

WHAT ARE YOUR DOS AND DON'TS AT A COCKTAIL PARTY?
Stick to the same cocktail, eat some food, and enjoy!

Treat your guests with a timeless classic martini. How do you prefer yours? Our preference leans toward a dry martini, garnished with an olive, though we always keep lemons on hand for those who prefer a twist.
