Fit for a Queen: The Vintage List Glassware in the V&A’s Marie Antoinette Style Exhibition Shop
We’re delighted to share that our glassware is now available in the V&A’s Marie Antoinette Style exhibition shop - the perfect complement to a showcase that celebrates all things opulent, ornate, and ever so slightly extravagant.
Open at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London until 22nd March 2026, the exhibition explores the world of the original style icon herself: Marie Antoinette. Expect silk, sequins, powder, and a healthy dose of excess. The V&A’s curation traces how her influence shaped 18th-century fashion, art, and design - and how her love of beauty continues to inspire today.
A Royal Setting for Refined Taste
After immersing yourself in pastel-hued gowns, glittering jewels, and lavish interiors, you’ll find the exhibition shop is every bit as tempting as Versailles itself. Think: pretty pastel V&A tote bags, exclusive loungewear, archive-inspired art prints, whimsical Rococo-styled home décor - and, of course, a few irresistible sweet treats. Nestled among these delights, our vintage-inspired Oval Champagne Coupe feels right at home. Our glasses echo the timeless craftsmanship and sense of ceremony that defined 18th-century design. The kind of glass you could imagine catching the candlelight at a royal banquet - though equally suited to a modern dinner table (or an indulgent Tuesday night).
And, in a wonderfully serendipitous twist, the coupe’s shape is said to have been originally modelled on the breast of Marie Antoinette herself. Whether or not that’s strictly true, it certainly feels like the kind of rumour she would have approved of - playful, indulgent, and utterly devoted to beauty.
Why The Vintage List Belongs in the Mix
Our pieces have always been inspired by the past - yet made for today. The inclusion of our glassware in the Marie Antoinette Style shop feels wonderfully fitting: a nod to heritage design that can still be enjoyed daily. Whether you’re pouring champagne into an etched coupe for party guests or setting your table for a low-key dinner, there’s no reason elegance should be reserved for the history books. So, if you find yourself at the V&A this season, take a little of that 18th-century spirit home. Pair your Rococo-style finds with our glassware, and toast to good taste - powdered wigs optional.
